MY Shine Begins Sea Trials
Van der Valk Shipyard has commenced sea trials for MY Shine, the shipyard's largest custom-built motor yacht to date. The 39.92-metre aluminium superyacht has entered her final phase of testing, where performance and onboard systems will be thoroughly evaluated ahead of her scheduled delivery.
Van der Valk Launches 39.92-Metre Project EVO
Dutch boutique shipyard Van der Valk has launched its largest yacht to date, the 39.92-metre Project EVO, at its facilities in Waalwijk, the Netherlands. The yacht was officially christened MY Shine during a launch ceremony attended by her owners, the craftsmen who brought the project to life, representatives from the design and engineering teams, owner’s representative Thom Conboy, who introduced the owners to Van der Valk, and other members of the project team.

Waalwijk, the Netherlands - Van der Valk Shipyard, builder of bespoke and boutique custom superyachts up to 45 metres in length, have started construction of a new, 30-metre custom aluminium yacht being built as Project Berlin. Van der Valk launches 35m LALABE ahead of Cannes debut
Under blue skies and with the late Spring sun shining down, Van der Valk launched its latest custom superyacht at its Waalwijk shipyard in the south of the Netherlands on Saturday 24 May. The launch of the 35-metre Project Samba signifies the move to sea trials and final fit-out of the yacht before she is delivered to her owners this summer bearing the name LALABE.
Van der Valk opens brand-new construction hall
Having firmly established itself as a niche leader in the market for fully custom motoryachts between 25 and 47 metres in length, Van der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands has opened a brand-new construction facility. Offing a state-of-the-art environment for the yard’s expert craftsmen, Hall 7 joins six other facilities on premises spanning over 9000 square metres and offering access to the water via 120 metres of dock.

Introducing Project EVO: Van der Valk’s largest all-custom superyacht
Van der Valk in the Netherlands has started construction on Project EVO, a completely custom 40-metre superyacht that will be the largest built by the yard to date in terms of length and volume. Its sleek exterior was originally penned by SFG Yacht Design and Fancy by Dada, with Cristiano Gatto Design adding new length and angles to the profile while also creating an exceptionally detailed interior. This all-aluminium bluewater cruiser will have a round bilged fast displacement hull and a target top speed of 24 knots.

Towering maiden tour for newly delivered Blue Jeans
Delivered to her owners in October, the 34-metre Blue Jeans is stopping onlookers in their tracks on her maiden voyage. After the handover by Van der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands, this all-custom superyacht cruised though Belgium, France and the UK to London, where some iconic shots were captured in front of Tower Bridge. Blue Jeans is due to arrive at her home berth in the Far East in february.
