Starting the new year in style, we’re pleased to share some brand-new images of the recently completed 34-metre superyacht ONE. This striking photoshoot showcases a highly sophisticated interior by Carla Guilhem Design that was superbly engineered and built by the Van der Valk craftsmen.

An evolution in sur mesure: Third Jangada sets new benchmark for 35-metre custom build

Van der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands has announced a new order for the tailor-made superyacht Jangada. Following on from the 25-metre Jangada and 32-metre World Superyacht Award nominee Jangada, this 35-metre project will showcase how evolving client wishes can be seamlessly met when a yard has the flexibility, capacity and willingness to fully go with the flow.

Stunning footage of EDGE 65 in Bahamas

Van der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands has released the first images of the striking new EDGE 65 in her natural habitat of the Bahamas. While this sporty blend of luxury cruiser and offshore speed machine would be equally at home exploring shallow waters and breathtaking bays the world over, the launch model for the new bespoke line was custom-created with the Exumas in mind.  And, as these photographs and video footage show, living life on the EDGE as rarely looked so good.

Introducing Project EVO: Van der Valk’s largest all-custom superyacht

Van der Valk in the Netherlands has started construction on Project EVO, a completely custom 40-metre superyacht that will be the largest built by the yard to date in terms of length and volume. Its sleek exterior was originally penned by SFG Yacht Design and Fancy by Dada, with Cristiano Gatto Design adding new length and angles to the profile while also creating an exceptionally detailed interior. This all-aluminium bluewater cruiser will have a round bilged fast displacement hull and a target top speed of 24 knots.

This 34-metre superyacht takes the proven hull of the award-winning Lady Lene as a platform for a fully custom superstructure and four decks of entertainment facilities.

Van der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands is taking its fully custom approach to the next level with the 21.27-metre Project Micamo. This bespoke flybridge motoryacht has been ordered by a client with precise requirements in terms of range and led to new rules being set by the Japanese flag state authorities. With a sophisticated exterior and interior by Guido de Groot Design, Project Micamo is set to showcase the finest Dutch craftsmanship to Japan in a unique way when delivered. It also confirms how far Van der Valk is prepared to go to meet custom demands.

Towering maiden tour for newly delivered Blue Jeans

Delivered to her owners in October, the 34-metre Blue Jeans is stopping onlookers in their tracks on her maiden voyage. After the handover by Van der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands, this all-custom superyacht cruised though Belgium, France and the UK to London, where some iconic shots were captured in front of Tower Bridge. Blue Jeans is due to arrive at her home berth in the Far East in february.

Dutch Falcon spreads her wings

Van der Valk in the Netherlands has delivered the 26-metre Dutch Falcon. The launch model for an innovative new take on the yard’s award-winning Flybridge range, she marries a proven-in-practice aluminium hull with a sleek-lined superstructure and show-stealing slabs of glass. And her highly experienced owner, a true perfectionist who has built more than 20 boats himself, is delighted with every aspect.

Our sales team are at the Cannes Yachting Festival showing clients around Lady Lene and discussing countless ideas with friends old and new for future builds. Meanwhile, work at our yard back in the Netherlands continues apace on a wide range of projects… And to cap it all we’ve just launched the beautiful Blue Jeans for her delighted owners.
