ISS Design Awards: More peer recognition for Blue Jeans

Everyone involved in the design and build of Blue Jeans was very pleased at the news that this bespoke beauty has been nominated for another renowned prize. The much-acclaimed pilothouse motoryacht has now been nominated as a finalist for the International Superyacht Society’s Design and Leadership Awards.

Created in 1990 to recognise outstanding achievements in the design and construction of large yachts, the ISS Design Awards are presented at a gala dinner during the Fort Lauderdale boat show. Blue Jeans has come through the selection process to be among the final five in the ‘Best in Motor <500 GT’ category.

Whether she comes out on top or not, this has been a fine year for recognition of the achievement by the owners of Blue Jeans and their partnership with Van der Valk, Guido de Groot Design and Diana Yacht Design. The fully custom yacht has already won a World Superyachts Award in the ‘Semi-displacement or planing motoryacht 30 to 34.99m’ category and was also a finalist in the World Yacht Trophies during the Cannes show.
