Van der Valk superyacht nominated for three top awards

One of our latest launches, a 27-metre motoryacht built under the brand name LeVen, has been nominated for three prestigious prizes. The finalists for the 2020 BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards have just been announced and the yacht has made it to the final stages of the ‘Best Naval Architecture Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts’, ‘Best New Series’ and ‘Innovation of the Year’ awards.

When you look at the list of finalists for each of these awards it is clear that Van der Valk has reached the peak of the motoryacht world. The ‘Innovation of the Year’ category, for example, includes two Feadships, finalists for their all-glass superstructure and IMAX theatre. The award judges have nominated the LeVen for its pioneering Voith Linear Jet propulsion system, which gives the yacht a draught of just 1.3 metres. This allows the experienced owners and their family to explore shallow waters such as those found in the Exuma islands in the Bahamas.

This exceptional motoryacht was commissioned by YachtCreators in the United States and designed by Vripack. She has a top speed of 26 knots and a range of 400 nautical miles. Solar panels top up the lithium batteries that power the air conditioning and the boat for up to 12 hours of night mode. Her sports deck features a Transformer platform for easy access and the efficient launching of tender and toys, facilitating the fabulous outdoor lifestyle offered by this revolutionary new line.
