Lady Lene finalist in 2023 BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards

We are delighted to announce that our fully-custom, all-aluminium tri-deck explorer Lady Lene has been nominated for two categories in the 2023 BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards, which will take place in Cortina d' Ampezzo in the Italian Dolomites. The categories are: ‘Best Interior Design, Motor Yachts 499GT and below’ and ‘Best Naval Architecture, Semi Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts.’

The awards have been created in order to acknowledge the industry’s best in naval architecture and styling, as well as recognising displays of innovation, engineering and sustainability in design and technology which meet the complex demands of today’s yacht owners.

Expert Naval Architecture
The 32.92-metre Lady Lene’s naval architecture is a collaborative effort between the dynamic Dutch duo Ginton Naval Architects and Diana Yacht Design, bringing together some of the industry’s best technical expertise.

Lady Lene sports a fast-displacement hull, a wave-piercing bow and a Hull Vane transom wing for exceptional performance and fuel savings, with a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots (power is provided by twin MAN 1650hp diesel engines). The superior stabilisation of her gyro system at zero speed is combined with a fin system perfect for weathering even the choppiest of waters in total comfort.

A Work of Art Inside
Lady Lene’s calming, unique and sophisticated Art Deco-inspired interiors spring from the pen of Carla Guilhem. Areas of note on board include her large, airy saloon and dining area on the main deck, as well as her aft entertainment area which comes complete with numerous lounging and dining spaces.

For those looking to keep connected with the ocean, Lady Lene also features a generous swim platform and bar, offering the ideal relaxation space for extended sea cruises.

The winners will be determined by an independent panel of judges and announced at the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards, as part of the Superyacht Design Festival in February 2023.
