DNA aesthetics

Project EVO is a bespoke yacht for the family, extended several metres during a design and consultation process that closely involved the clients every step of the way. The owners were inspired by an exceptionally attractive design from Franco Gianni of SFG Yacht Design and Doga Naz Cebeci from Fancy by Dada. Cristiano Gatto Design was initially involved with the layout and interior style, leveraging on some specific furniture design concepts. Some of this aesthetic flavour was then added to the exterior design, further evolving the DNA of the preliminary concept.

Taking time

An all-aluminium bluewater cruiser with a round-bilged fast displacement hull, Project EVO will have a top speed around the 24-knot mark. And her seriously sleek exterior profile is complemented by an equally detailed interior, with the process from first renders to interior concept taking around ten months to complete. First-class accommodations for ten include a main deck master and two twin guest suites and two VIPs on the lower deck, plus eight crew. Built to ABS class, Project EVO will comply with the latest IMO Tier III emissions.

True custom identity

Project EVO is based upon an existing engineered platform that has been proven in terms of naval architecture. She is another fine example of how clients can come to Van der Valk with their own exterior designers without having to reinvent the wheel with a new hull, safe in the knowledge that their yacht will excel in terms of performance, speed and stability. We are one of the few yards in the world with the capacity and flexibility to build fully custom superyachts in the 25 to 45-metre size range.
