Van der Valk
PROJECT BERLIN
Maximized Space and Comfort
Project Berlin is a custom 30-metre raised pilothouse yacht that proves you don't need to go bigger to get more. Designed by Guido de Groot Design and built by Van der Valk Shipyard, she features dynamic, modern lines and an innovative asymmetric layout that maximizes interior volume on her 7-metre beam. The result is a yacht that offers the spaciousness and comfort of a significantly larger vessel while staying strategically under the 24-metre regulatory threshold delivering exceptional liveability without the complexity of additional compliance requirements.

PROFILE
Tailored for Extended Living
This is a yacht designed for owners who actually live aboard, not just weekend cruisers. The layout reflects a deliberate choice for quality over quantity: instead of cramming in four guest cabins, Project Berlin features just two expansive VIP staterooms on the lower deck, while the full-beam master suite forward on the main deck enjoys spectacular sea views through three-metre-long opening windows. The generous crew quarters, complete with a dedicated laundry and spacious mess area, underscore the owners' commitment to comfortable extended cruising from April through October.
Performance with Purpose
Project Berlin combines Dutch engineering excellence with practical performance. Her hard chine semi-displacement hull will deliver a top speed of 24 knots and cruise comfortably at 20 knots, while a modest two-metre draft opens up access to shallower anchorages and bays. The yacht's generous outdoor spaces include an expansive sundeck with spa pool, wraparound sunpads, and a full outdoor galley with barbecue, because cruising means living outside as much as inside. Built to MCA MGN 280 standards with Van der Valk's legendary craftsmanship, she's scheduled for delivery in summer 2027.
