The construction of Project Samba – Episode #2

Leveraging the proven engineering and naval architecture of Lady Lene, the owners of Project Samba have opted for a fast displacement hull powered by twin MAN 1450 hp diesels, which is expected to achieve a top speed of around 17 knots.

Jaron Ginton’s expertise is pivotal in enhancing the hull design, with a focus on extending the waterline while ensuring light displacement.

Upon completing the round bridge hull, the design was entrusted to Diana Yacht Design, which faced the challenge of creating a lightweight structure that maintains an explorer look and feel. This includes implementing features such as full-height windows on the main deck and a large transformer in the swim platform.
