General Arrangement
The ultimate weekender
The original Edge 65 concept was imagined by repeat Van der Valk clients, owners of the 90-foot LeVen and 34-metre custom explorer Lady Lene. Their goal? To create the ultimate weekender on which to zoom off island-hopping in the Caribbean while optimising life close to the water. This vision was brought to reality with a team of experts … And the second Edge 65 leverages on these experiences to enormous effect.
Family friendly
The first Edge 65 won ‘Best custom motoryacht’ at the Cannes 2023 show and the second builds on this winning spirit in various ways. The main salon has a family-friendly arrangement with doors aft of the main deck interior opening up to a giant fold-out platform. From the delightful outdoor dining to the ultra-comfy cabins and bathrooms, the yacht is equally pleasurable on day trips and overnight cruises.
Riding the waves
Carla Guilhem says she was inspired to draw the design for the second Edge 65 after spending time on the first. “Even at her top speed of 40 knots she is amazingly stable and relaxing with no slamming. The Edge 65 rides the waves like a comfortable Bentley and our design reflects this with a masculine, car-like aesthetic. Clean lines & shapes and very light spaces are blended with grey and black tones to provide an easy-on-the-eye sense of harmony. The Edge 65 is a seriously cool yacht.”
Power and performance
This EDGE 65 is fitted with four Mercury V12 Verados outboard engines, offering an exhilarating combined horsepower of 2400. An inboard propulsion option is also available if you prefer, accessing the smart engineering and design of the previous yachts in the range. A whisper-quiet onboard ambience is assured regardless of how your Edge is powered on a yacht that brings you as close to the water as possible in a 20-metre size.
