Jangada nominated for World Superyacht Award

Excellent news! We’ve just heard that the 32-metre Van der Valk beauty Jangada has made it through to the final of the World Superyacht Awards. Of the many entries from around the world, only five were chosen by the jury for this last stage of the competition to be named the best ‘Semi-Displacement or Planing Motoryachts below 500 GT – 30m to 34.9m’.

The winners will be announced at the 15th annual World Superyacht Awards ceremony in London on the evening of Saturday 16 May 2020. While we would obviously be delighted to take home one of the prestigious Neptune trophies, this prize nomination is already a tribute to the great team involved in creating Jangada, which was launched last year.

Well done to the craftsmen, engineers and naval architects at Van der Valk, designers Guido de Groot and Nick Top, and above all the owner, whose vision on how his second Van der Valk should look and feel inspired us all. It is always a pleasure to partner with repeat clients, and the success of Jangada and our Raised Pilothouse custom-series line is clearer than ever to see.
