We are honoured to share the news that our recently launched 34-metre motoryacht ONE is already making waves by being nominated for a World Superyacht Award. This bespoke addition to the Van der Valk fleet will now go up against four other top superyachts in the ‘Displacement Motor Yachts — 499GT and below’ category, with the winner being announced at an exclusive ceremony in the beginning of May in Venice.

This will be the 20th edition of the World Superyacht Awards, which were established to “recognise the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the most remarkable superyachts from across the globe.” Previous nominees for one of the famous trophies from the Van der Valk stable include Jangada, Lady Lene (awarded a special judges commendation in 2022) and Blue Jeans (a winner in 2023).

Hopefully this latter result augers well for ONE as her full-displacement aluminium hull was based upon the proven performance seen on Lady Lene. Above the waterline are four decks of first-class entertainment facilities featuring the very latest comforts and equipment. The design was developed by leading lights in our industry including Guido de Groot, Ginton Naval Architects, Diana Yacht Design and Carla Guilhem Design.
