The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is now in its 67th edition and calls itself «the world’s largest in-water boat show». The organisers expect more than 1,300 yachts and over 100,000 visitors. The show is spread across waterfront venues throughout the city, from Bahia Mar Yachting Center to the Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South, with shuttles and water taxis running between them.

Meet Us On Board MY Venera

Venera is a 28.5-metre explorer yacht built in Waalwijk, with a raised pilothouse amidships. Guido de Groot Design created her exterior, and Diana Yacht Design and Ginton Naval Architects developed her naval architecture. Twin MAN V12 engines drive her fast-displacement aluminium hull at a cruising speed of 17 knots. A zero-speed gyroscopic stabiliser keeps her steady at anchor. She takes up to 10 guests. On the main deck, the owner’s suite sits forward and the saloon opens directly onto the beach club. A jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads completes her outdoor spaces.
