Was passiert, wenn sich die besonderen Ideen erfahrener Eigner, die seit Jahrzehnten auf dem Wasser unterwegs sind, mit den kreativen Talenten des Außenarchitekten Guido de Groot und der Innenarchitektin Carla Guilhem zu einer maßgefertigten Yacht vereinen, die den bewährten Rumpf der Van der Valk Lady Lene als Plattform nutzt? Die Antwort ist das leistungsstarke Projekt 111.11, eine 34-Meter Superyacht mit Vollverdrängung, zwei Volvo Penta Motoren mit 750 PS im Dauerbetrieb und einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 14,4 Knoten. Jedes der vier Decks ist auf die speziellen Bedürfnisse einer Yacht zugeschnitten, mit einer ausklappbaren Plattform am Heck und einer Lazarette für Jetskis, die ein hervorragender Entspannungsbereich sein wird. Bei Projekt 111.11 dreht sich alles um die stilvolle Bewirtung großer Gruppen auf einem kompakten Schiff mit viel Volumen.

Smart synergies
Using the engineering packages and cutting files from a successful Van der Valk generates major cost synergies while allowing for the entirely different look & feel we see on Project 111.11. The owners have made the most of this efficient way of building that provides exceptional freedom to customise a yacht above the waterline. The exterior design showcases their fondness for straight lines, with all angles pointing in the same direction going forward and the fashion plates aft rising to the hardtop in a continuous line. Note, too, the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the salon with doors that open aft and to the portside dining area, plus the expansive al fresco seating areas.
Carte blanche
Another custom idea is an asymmetrical sky lounge on the bridge deck which generates an extra beam for a better flow in that area. Other highlights include a master suite with a large walk-in wardrobe and a lower deck laundry station with a large washer/drier capacity. A walk-through from the laundry into the guest corridor is facilitated by a watertight bulkhead door fitted for damage stability. Enormous attention has been paid to storage, with all spaces under sunbeds and sofas utilised and a large refrigerated area within the foredeck. Carla Guilhem has been given carte blanche to create a unique interior style.
